Odey & Luana were like family to Carol and I. I met Odey in 1974 when working at Walker Chevrolet. Once we owned Hiatt 11 years latter, they were almost always invited to our company celebrations. We never heard a bad word come from this wonderful guy. I wondered why I couldn't get through to him by phone Sunday, hoping to have lunch with him this week. They don't make many like him.
