Robert (Bob) Lee Gunderson September 29, 1931 - March 4, 2016 Robert was retired Air Force of 20 years as a weather forecaster. He is preceded in death by his parents. After the military Bob jumped into new home sales with Brookdale Homes who ultimately built the home in Graham where Bob and Shirley have lived for the past 37 years. During this time, he was involved heavily in the Home Builders Association helping to put on many Home Shows in the Tacoma Dome. Bob finished out his working career at Ed's Moving and Storage (Tacoma) in sales. Bob was a loving husband and father; mild mannered and willing to help guide in all situations. Bob enjoyed wildlife and gardening, producing multiple sizes and varieties of Dahlias in his garden. Watching the variety of wildlife on the property from deer to the woodpeckers was a pastime he and Shirley both enjoyed on a daily basis. Bob loved hunting and fishing: whether it be in the early morning hours after trout on the Snake River in Idaho or in the mountains outside of Morton, WA at his favorite deer area Peterman Hill. Bob will be immensely missed but never forgotten by family and friends as a generous man, with a good sense of humor and a big heart. He is preceded in death by his parents Edna and Carl Gunderson. He is survived by his loving wife Shirley of 63 years, daughters Debbie(Dennis) and Donna, sons James (Heather) and Robert (Debbie), sister-in-law Janice, 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 1 niece and 2 nephews.
