Obituary of James Dennis Bobber

James Dennis Bobber 1958 - 2008 Jim was born into the arms of his loving mother on March 22, 1958. He passed from the loving arms of his wife to our blessed Lord on July 9th, 2008. Jim grew up in the Hawthorn District of Tacoma. A year ago we planted a tree in our backyard to honor that fact. Attending Holy Rosary gradeschool and Saint Robert Bellarmine Highschool. Participating in school activities and sports. Over the years Jim and his wife were active in the neighborhood youth outreach program as well as youth ministries at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Those Wednesday children were OUR children. Interests included family, friends, neighbors, animals, fishing, poker night with the guys, college football, church life and a good Sunday sermon. Jim will be remembered most for his unfailing courage, the mischievous twinkle in his eye, quick wit, beautiful smile and laughter. A special thank you to our church families at Bethlehem and Peace Lutheran. Pastor John Stroeh for visiting any time, any place over the past year. Never underestimate the comfort of a visit or the power of prayer.
