(Service Folder) Afterglow I'd like the memory of me To be a happy one. I'd like to leave an afterglow Of smiles when life is done. I'd like to leave an echo Whispering softly down the ways, Of happy times and laughing times And bright and sunny days. I'd like tears of those who grieve, To dry before the sun Of happy memories that I leave When life here is done. "That God which ever lives and loves, One God, one law, one element, And one far-off divine event, To which the whole creation moves." Words of our Lord Jesus When Jesus came near the end of his days some of the disciples questioned. They wondered why he had not said more about heaven and the conditions of living there. Then they came to him with their questionings. He smiled when they asked if men live on after the body decays. "Why, of course," he replied. "In my Father's house are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you."
