Obituary of Ellsworth Lee Milton

Ellsworth Lee Milton "Husky" was born in Lewiston, ID on June 26, 1928, and lost his battle with lymphoma on June 9, 2008. Husky served proudly in the US Marine Corps and Air Force Reserves, and worked for the Boeing Company and Tacoma Fire Department before becoming a general contractor in the Tacoma area. He lived many of his years in Gig Harbor, sharing his love of the water and traveling with his wife Christa. Husky had a zest for life, was quick to share a joke and loved to make you laugh or just see you smile. He loved his family, friends, and of course his dog. He is survived by his wife Christa, brother Melvin (Joan) Milton, children Jeanne Nelson, Craig (Danielle) Milton, Cynthia McCroy, stepchildren David (Krista) Morrell, Randy (Leah) Milton, Kim (Tony) Krous, many grandchildren, whom he adored, and a dear friend, Scott Nelson. We will miss him greatly and want to thank the nursing staff at St. Joseph Hospital for their kindness and compassion during these past two weeks. A celebration of Husky's life will be held at the Tacoma Yacht Club on June 26, 2008 from 3 to 6.
