Obituary of George J. Manos

George, 91, passed away April 23, 2008 in Tacoma, WA. He will be greatly missed by all especially his wife Bette of 64 years. His extended family and friends from Canada, Washington, Hawaii will remember "Mayor George" as a man with a big heart. His children, Michael and Lorrie are sad to see him gone, but he is joining their sister Barbara Jo in heaven. A proud WWII veteran, Little League baseball coach, Employee of Seattle Rubber Stamp, Organizer and believer, working for the Printing Press Specialty Union then to retire with the City of Seattle Print Shop. Memorial service to celebrate George's life will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 28th at Piper-Morley-Mellinger Funeral Home, 5436 S. Puget Sound Ave., Tacoma, (253) 472-3353.
