Obituary of Marlene D. Ellsworth

Marlene D. (Kalin) Ellsworth Daughter of Charles and Lela Kalin. Marlene passed away Monday, May 26, 2008 after a long illness. She was born August 28, 1932 in Tacoma, WA. She was preceded in death by her sister Kathleen. She is survived by her husband Edwin V. Ellsworth and her sister Marjorie Patten. Marlene worked for the County of Pierce thirty four years and became the first "clerk of the board" of the county council. Marlene and her husband enjoyed traveling the world, going throughout Europe and exotic places like Kenya and the Figi Islands, rafting down rivers in Oregon, Montana , Idaho and Washington. Marlene was an avid golfer and she enjoyed all of her golfing lady friends and other Dear Friends: Barb and Greg Perez, Sherry Mathews, Evelyn Gower and her cousin, Marilyn Talley plus her nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, May 30, 2008 at All Saints Catholic Church in Puyallup, interment at Calvary Cemetery.
